Vidya Balan commences shoot for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, shared BTS video

Vidya Balan took to Instagram on Monday to share a BTS video commencing the shoot of her upcoming film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. The film also stars Kartik Aaryan and Tripti Dimri in the lead and is directed by Anees Bazmee.

The video that Vidya shared features Kartik, Tripti, Anees, and producer Bhushan Kumar. She is seen arriving on the set and doing pooja on the first day of the shoot. The shoot is seen to be taking place at a railway station set. In the caption, she wrote, “Super thrilled to kickstart this spooky yet hilarious journey of #BhoolBhulaiyaa3 with the super talented @kartikaaryan and @tripti_dimri, the visionary @aneesbazmee and the man who made this all possible #BhushanKumar! Can’t wait for #Diwali2024 (sic).”

Vidya will reprise her role of Manjulika from Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007) in the third part of the franchise. The 2007 film also starred Akshay Kumar and Shiney Ahuja in pivotal roles, and it was directed by Priyadarshan. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 released in 2022 and starred Kartik Aaryan, Tabu and Kiara Advani in the lead. Kartik essayed the role of Rooh baba in the film. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is set to be released on Diwali this year.
