Homi Adajania’s upcoming whodunit Murder Mubarak is set to release on Netflix on March 15. The murder mystery stars Karisma Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia, Sara Ali Khan, Vijay Varma, Sanjay Kapoor and Tisca Chopra, among others. The film is centred around a murder that occurs at the elite Royal Delhi Club and also stars Pankaj Tripathi as ACP Bhavani Singh, who is on the case.

The film marks the first collaboration between Homi and Pankaj. On the sets, a unique bond was formed between the two. Talking about it, Homi said, “Directing such an intuitive actor was a joy, but getting to know someone like Pankaj is what I cherish. We would sit on sets after wrapping the shoot and regale each other with so many stories of the various journeys we’ve experienced and I realised that however different we are, we are so similar at the core.”

“I also realised that there's an inherent goodness which we look for in people, and with Pankaj the positivity and sensitivity is what he’s about,” he added.

The Netflix film also stars Aashim Gulati, Deven Bhojani and Suhail Nayyar. Murder Mubarak has been written by Gazal Dhaliwal and Suprotim Sengupta and is produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films.
