Teaser of Pooja Bhatt starrer Big Girls Don’t Cry out

The teaser of upcoming school-drama series Big Girls Don't Cry was unveiled on Monday. Created by Nitya Mehra (Made in Heaven, Baar Baar Dekho), the Prime Video series will star Pooja Bhatt alongside an ensemble consisting of Bodhisattva Sharma (recently seen in All India Rank) Zoya Hussain, Lovleen Misra, Mukul Chaddha, Raima Sen, Dalai, Tenzin Lhakyila, Avantika Vandanapu, Aneet Padda, Akshita Sood, Afrah Sayed and Vidushi.

The teaser gives a glimpse into the ecosystem of a girls' boarding schoolSharp- cut scenes show bullying and ego clashes. We see Pooja Bhatt, who might be in the role of an administrator at the school. Bodhisattva is also seen as the only boy in the all-girls school.

Speaking about the show, Nitya said in a press release, “Big Girls Don’t Cry isn’t just another girls boarding school drama. It is an insight into the lives, ideas, and feelings of young girls that are carving a path for themselves, finding their way into this world, and are doing so on their terms.”

She added, “Learning to overcome challenges and capitalize on opportunities, these girls are jet-setting on an enriching journey of self-discovery that will define who they are and what they are made of.”

Nitya has earlier directed some episodes of the show Made in Heaven. Along with her, producer Karan Kapadia, Kopal Naithani and co-writer Sudhanshu Saria have directed the episodes of Big Girls Don’t Cry. The series, co-produced by Ashi Dua Sara, will premiere on Prime Video from March 14.
