‘Khudaya’, another song from the Akshay Kumar and Radhika Madan starrer Sarfira, was unveiled by the makers on Thursday. The song is in the style of a qawwali and is crooned by Suhit Abhyankar, Sagar Bhatia, and Neeti Mohan, and composed by Suhit.

The music video begins with Radhika’s character leaving Akshay after an altercation. We then see Akshay’s character running from pillar to post trying to find Radhika and bring her back as the tunes of the sad qawwali play in the background.

Sharing her thoughts on the song, singer Neeti said, “Singing ‘Khudaya’ has been an incredibly moving experience for me. The song's poignant lyrics and beautiful melody truly capture the essence of enduring love.”

Reflecting on the process of creating the song, composer Suhit said, “Composing and singing 'Khudaya' has been a journey of deep emotional exploration. This qawwali holds a special place in my heart.”

Sarfira is the Hindi remake of the 2020 Tamil film Soorarai Pottru which starred Suriya. Both versions have been directed by Sudha Kongara. Apart from Akshay and Radhika, the film also stars Paresh Rawal and Seema Biswas. It is slated to release on July 12.
