Actor Sonakshi Sinha took to Instagram on Tuesday to post photos from her wedding reception photoshoot with husband Zaheer Iqbal.
In the photos Zaheer can be seen dressed in an all-white Indo-western, while Sonakshi opted for a red saree. The couple can be seen planting kisses on each other’s foreheads in the pictures. Sonakshi captioned the post, “Whattttt a day!!!! The love, the laughter, the togetherness, the excitement, the warmth, the support from every one of our friends, families and teams… it was like the universe came together for two people in love to give them exactly what they’ve always hoped, wished and prayed for. If this is not divine intervention… we dont know what is. We are both truly blessed to have each other and so much love protecting us.”
Sonakshi and Zaheer did a civil marriage at the former’s Bandra home on June 23. They then organised a reception for Bollywood’s who’s who at the luxury restaurant Bastian. It was attended by Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Rekha and Huma Qureshi among others.
Sonakshi and Zaheer had been dating for about seven years. They also starred together in the film Double XL (2022).
