Meet the characters of Bad Newz, played by Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk

Character posters from the upcoming Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk starrer comedy-drama Bad Newz were unveiled by the makers on Tuesday. The film, directed by Anand Tiwari, has been written by Ishita Moitra and Tarun Dudeja. The makers also revealed the trailer release date of the film as June 28.

Vicky is seen doing a bhangra in the poster and will be playing the role of Akhil Chadha. Ammy is all back is essaying the character of Gurbir paaji while Triptii’s character is named Saloni.

Triptii shared the posters and wrote, “Meet the trio-uble makers bringing the #BadNewz this season!
Akhil Chadha...sab toh vadda! Gurbir paaji - rola pai gaya ji! Saloni, who is ready to take the test!?
TRAILER OUT THIS FRIDAY!”

Produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Leo Media Collective, Bad Newz is the spiritual spiritual successor to the Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh starrer Good Newwz (2019) which revolved around the life of two couples whose lives intertwine due to a blunder made by a doctor during in vitro fertilization (IVF).
