Actor Tanushree Dutta slammed Nana Patekar over the latter’s recent statements on the MeToo allegations against him. She lashed out at Nana for terming them as false accusations.
For the unversed, during the MeToo movement Tanushree had accused the veteran actor of sexually harassing her on the sets of the 2008 comedy Horn OK Please. Recently, in an interview with The Lallantop, when Nana was asked if he got angry over the allegations, he responded by saying that since it was a “lie” he did not lose his temper.
“Now, he is scared and his supporter base in Bollywood has dwindled. All those who supported him are either bankrupt or have sidelined him,” Tanushree told Times Now. “People can see through his manipulations now and thus he comes up with another major gaslight. Responding to a six-year-old allegation! Nana Patekar is a pathological liar.”
After her allegations against Nana, Tanushree said she was sidelined by the Entertainment industry. She made her Bollywood debut with the 2005 film Aashiq Banaya Apne. Her last release was Apartment in 2010.
