Kapil Sharma’s The Great Indian Kapil Show to get a second season

The Great Indian Kapil Show will have a season 2, comedian and show’s host Kapil Sharma announced recently.

The ongoing season of the show featured many guests like Ed Sheeran, Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor and his family, among others.

The finale episode of Season 1 will be released on June 22 and will feature Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan as the guest.

Getting excited about the new season, Kapil Sharma said, “This has been a wonderful first season of The Great Indian Kapil Show. There have been many firsts and we will cherish those. We are grateful for all the love pouring in from across the globe. Earlier, in the middle of the first season, reports of The Great Indian Kapil Show suffering from low viewership surfaced. The show’s cast, however, hit back at these rumours, confirming that their contract with Netflix is getting over for Season 1 but they will return with a new season.
