The shoot wrap of Aamir Khan-starrer Sitaare Zameen Par was announced by the makers on Saturday.

In a separate Instagram story, the filmmaker praised Aamir and called him “generous” and a “creative culture builder.”

"From watching ‘Lagaan' on screen and picking up my jaw from the floor. To standing next to, learning from, admiring and working with the Aamir Sir. God has been extremely kind and generous. So so much to learn from sir on so many fronts,” he wrote.

"But above all... How to be an amazing human being... Full of love, passion, absolute humility... Unending curiosity and learning zeal... A terrific leader, an extraordinary creative culture builder... Constantly empowering those around him... Extremely trusting... And a protector," Prasanna added.

The film also stars Genelia Deshmukh.

"What an absolute delight of a human. You are a treasure my friend," the director wrote alongside his photo with Genelia on his Instagram Story.

Earlier, while announcing the film Aamir had said, “The title of the film is Sitaare Zameen Par. You must have remembered my film Taare Zameen Par. We are moving 10 steps ahead with the same theme.”

Taare Zameen Par was an emotional film, this film will make you laugh. That film made you cry, this one will entertain you. But the theme is the same that's why we kept this name very thoughtfully. In Taare Zameen Par, my character helps the special child Ishaan. In Sitaare Zameen Par, those 9 boys, who have their own issues they help me. We have flipped it,” he added.

When it comes to other projects, Aamir is backing Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta starrer Lahore 1947.
