Trailer of Akshay Kumar’s Sarfira out on this date

Akshay Kumar took to Instagram on Friday to announce that the trailer of his upcoming film Sarfira will be out on June 18. Directed by Sudha Kongara, the film is a remake of her Tamil film, Soorarai Pottru (2020) and also stars Paresh Rawal, Radhika Madan and Seema Biswas in pivotal roles. 

Akshay shared a poster of the film featuring him in a bearded look with a quote written on it, ‘Dream so big they call you crazy.’ He wrote in the caption, “The story of a man who dared to dream big! And for me this is a story, a character, a film, an opportunity of a lifetime! Sarfira trailer out on 18th June. Catch Sarfira on 12th July, only in cinemas.”

Soorarai Pottru (2020) starred actors Suriya, Aparna Balamurali and Paresh Rawal in the lead. It won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film and Best Screenplay in 2020. The film is produced by Aruna Bhattia, Suriya, Jyothika and Vikram Malhotra. It is scheduled to release in theatres on July 12.
