Amitabh Bachchan is a rugged warrior in new poster from Kalki 2898 AD

Amitabh Bachchan took to X on Friday to share a poster from Kalki 2898 AD featuring the character he plays. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film also stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani. Its trailer will be out on June 10.

In the poster, Amitabh is seen wearing rugged clothes as he holds a futuristic weapon in his hands. In the caption, he wrote, “Waiting yes for this great honour of being in the company of greats! His wait is ending. 3 days to go for #Kalki2898AD Trailer, out on June 10th.”

Earlier, his character promo was released, featuring him seated in a dark cave. He plays Ashwatthama, the son of Drona in the film.

Kalki 2898 AD is produced by Chalasani Aswini Dutt, Swapna Dutt and Priyanka Dutt under the banner Vyjayanthi Movies. It will be released in theatres on June 27.
