Vikrant Massey shares getting scolded by Taapsee Pannu for being late, Sunny Kaushal says, ‘Who hasn’t been scolded by her?’

Vikrant Massey and Sunny Kaushal recently shared instances of Taapsee Pannu scolding people on the set. Vikrant recalled how, during the shooting of Haseen Dillruba, he was scolded by her for being late for shooting by 10 minutes. Hearing this, Sunny said, “But who hasn’t been scolded by her?” making Taapsee hide her face with embarrassment. The three will be seen next in the dark-comedy thriller Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba.

In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Vikrant shared an instance of Taapsee scolding him and said, “The hotel we were staying in was just a five-minute walk from the set. We would go back to the hotel for lunch and I used to be at least 10 minutes late returning. She would say, ‘You are 10 minutes late coming back from a hotel that’s just five minutes away. Impressive.'”

Sunny shared another anecdote about her and said, “On the first day of shooting Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, Taapsee and I were together. Since it’s the first day, you will be a bit on the edge because you are just discovering things and meeting everybody and you don’t know much. Our still photographer was nearby, taking lots of photos. Taapsee was talking to the director at the time. After hearing the camera clicking continuously, she turned to him and said, ‘Either you do the shooting or let them (the unit) do it; you decide.’ He looked at her like, ‘It’s the first day… give us at least 30 minutes to warm up before starting to scold.'”

Directed by Jayprad Desai and written by Kanika Dhillon, Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba is a sequel to the 2021 Haseen Dillruba. It also stars Jimmy Shergill in pivotal roles. It will be released on Netflix on August 9.
