'Duur Na Karin': Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor’s romantic song from Khel Khel Mein out

The song ‘Duur Na Karin’ from Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor’s upcoming film Khel Khel Mein was released by the makers on Tuesday. The film is directed by Mudassar Aziz and also stars Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, Fardeen Khan, Aditya Seal and Pragya Jaiswal in pivotal roles.

The music video of the song is shot completely abroad featuring Akshay and Vaani as love blossoms between the two. It is composed by Tanishk Bagchi and sung by Vishal Mishra, Zahrah S Khan with lyrics by Kumaar and Khadim Hussain. It has an upbeat feeling to it with the lyrics giving a flavour of new age romance with old school sensibilities.

As per reports, the film is a Hindi remake of the 2016 Italian comedy-drama Perfect Strangers. It will see Akshay reunite with Taapsee after Mission Mangal (2019). He has worked with Vaani before in Bell Bottom (2021). The film will also mark the big screen return of Fardeen Khan after 14 years.

The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vipul D. Shah, Ashwin Varde, Rajesh Bahl, Shashikant Sinha, and Ajay Rai. It was earlier scheduled to hit theatres on September 6, but the release date was preponed. It will now hit the theatres on August 15, along with Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor's Stree 2 and John Abraham, Sharvari's Veda.
