Janhvi Kapoor was hospitalised due to severe food poisoning, as per reports. The actor, who is gearing up for her upcoming release Ulajh, recently spoke about her hospitalisation and how she suffered with a digestive immunity disorder.
In an interview with Times Now, the Dhadak actor revealed that she had travelled to Chennai for a day and ate something “funky” at the airport which led to her ordeal. “Initially, we thought it was a stomach bug, but it really wasn’t because all of my blood parameters, when they took all of these tests, were all over the place,” she said.
“Apparently my liver enzymes and my liver profile were way off, which gave doctors a lot of reason to panic,” she added. Describing her condition at the hospital, the actor said, “I felt completely paralyzed. I wasn’t in any condition to speak or walk or even eat.”
The actor added that the experience taught her that while career and appearance are important, her health is paramount, stating that one needs to “respect their body,” adding that career, work and vanity are “fleeting” and can all “go away.”
Janhvi also took to Instagram and shared a video stating that she is back to work. Her upcoming spy-thriller Ulajh also starring Gulshan Devaiah and Roshan Mathew.
