Neeraj Pandey introduces Tabu’s character from Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha

Neeraj Pandey took to Instagram on Saturday to introduce the character of Tabu from the upcoming film Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha. The film also stars Ajay Devgn, Jimmy Sheirgill, Shantanu Maheshwari, and Saiee Manjrekar.

Neeraj also shared a new poster from the film featuring Tabu’s character Vasudha superimposed with the visuals of Mumbai and the younger versions of Ajay and her played by Shantanu and Saiee. In the caption, Neeraj wrote, “Presenting Vasudha. Strong, independent, and loving.”

As per reports, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha is a musical journey spanning over a period of 20 years. It is set between 2002 and 2023.

The film will be Neeraj's first theatrical directorial since Aiyaary (2018). The director since then has been working on web series like Special Ops, Khakee: The Bihar Chapter and The Freelancer.

This will be Ajay’s tenth collaboration with Tabu. The actors have previously worked together in blockbusters like the Drishyam series and recently Bholaa (2023).

Auron Mein Kaha Dum Tha is scheduled to release in theatres on August 2. It was earlier scheduled to be released on July 5, but the makers postponed it on request of 'exhibitors and distribution fraternity'.
