Sharvari on being part of YRF Spy Universe film Alpha: A dream come true to star alongside my cinematic idols

Sharvari recently opened up about starring alongside Alia Bhatt in her upcoming YRF Spy Universe film, Alpha and said that it is like a dream come true for her to be part of the film which has her cinematic idols. The film’s title was unveiled recently and it is being helmed by The Railway Men (2023) director Shiv Rawail.

Sharing her excitement, Sharvari said, “It is overwhelming to be a part of this massive YRF Spy Universe. I am honestly not feeling a lot of pressure because I am truly enjoying every bit of the process of just being a part of this universe. I am like a ball of energy right now - too excited to have this opportunity - too excited to be working with one of the greatest superstars of our country, Alia Bhatt.”

She added, “So, I am looking forward to being on set, to learn from Alia every day, to deliver my scenes well. If I let the pressure get to me, I won’t be able have fun and I don’t want that. To be part of a universe that has my cinematic idols is a dream come true moment honestly. I look up to Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif. Just the fact that I am playing a super-agent in the film is just too surreal.”

Created by Aditya Chopra, the YRF Spy universe started back in 2012 with Ek Tha Tiger followed by Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), War (2019), Pathaan (2023) and Tiger 3 (2023).

The spy-universe’s upcoming offerings are War 2 with Hrithik Roshan, NTR Jr. and Kiara Advani. The epic face-off between Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan in Tiger vs Pathaan is also ready to go on floors next year.
