Varun Dhawan to reunite with dad David Dhawan for romantic comedy?

Actor Varun Dhawan is reuniting with his father David Dhawan for a romantic comedy, the shooting of which he will commence on July 12.

As per a report in Mid-Day, the yet-to-be-titled film will also feature Mrunal Thakur and Sreeleela. It is being reported that, having wrapped up the shoot for Baby John, Varun will start work on the rom-com from July 12.

“The shoot starts at Mehboob Studios in Bandra on July 12. A huge set has been erected, and over the first week, David will shoot indoor scenes with the leading man at the venue. The schedule has been planned in such a way that the team will film in the Bandra studio through the monsoons, after which they will move to other locations,” a source told Mid-Day.

This will be Varun’s fourth collaboration with his father after Main Tera Hero (2014), Judwaa 2 (2017) and Coolie No 1 (2020).
