Sunny Singh, Varun Sharma and the co-stars of Wild Wild Punjab shared the fun they had while shooting their upcoming film on Netflix. They talked about how after the shooting, they would sit together each day for ‘baithak’ sessions. Directed by Simarpreet Singh, the film also stars Manoj Singh, Patralekha, Ishita Raj and Jassie Gill in pivotal roles.

Speaking of their bonding, Varun said, “All of us bonded really well, all of us are Punjabis, even Patralekhaa enjoyed the whole experience and we love Punjabi music. We had the same taste in music! We even used to share our playlist with each other.”

Manjot recalled the shopping that they did together and said, “Sunny loved shopping, we have spent a lot of money because of him, while Varun made us eat a lot! He had a fetish for eating mushroom puffs every day, over and above trying some new wild dishes too daily.”

Sunny shared of their ‘after pack-up’ sessions and added, “Every day post pack-up we used to sit for 'Baithak,' a name I gave to these sessions, and Varun didn't let us sleep because he was so energetic."

Jaise Gill talked about how all of them would speak in Punjabi during the shoot. “Since we are all Punjabis, we’d often end up talking in Punjabi itself and we’d get stares from others who couldn’t understand what we were talking about,” he said.

Patralekha reminisced about spending time with the locals. “We spent time with the locals, sharing stories and enjoying delicious meals together. Their warmth and hospitality made our journey truly special and added an authentic touch to our film. I am grateful for the memories and the bonds we formed during our time there.”

Presented by Gulshan Kumar, Bhushan Kumar, Wild Wild Punjab produced by Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg and is all set to premiere on Netflix July 10.
