Ryan Reynolds wishes to work with Ranveer Singh, calls him ‘amazing’

Ryan Reynolds recently spoke about how he would like to work with Ranveer Singh in a film. He and Hugh Jackman were recently promoting their film Marvel Cinematic Universe film, Deadpool & Wolverine. Ranveer Singh had done the Hindi dubbing for the character played by Ryan Reynolds in his superhero film Deadpool (2016).

During an interaction recently, Ryan was asked about the Indian star he would like to collaborate with. Ryan replied, “Oh, Ranveer Singh is amazing. He’s done the voice of Deadpool I think. But he is also very funny.” Hugh was sitting right next to him and Ryan addressed him as he added, “You think you are in shape? This guy, this guy (Ranveer) makes you look like a crypt keeper. He is amazing.” Hugh laughed at this exchange.

In the same interaction, Hugh expressed his admiration for Indian men’s cricket team captain, Rohit Sharma and said, “You took the cup home and I am glad. Honestly, he (Rohit) was a beast.”

Deadpool & Wolverine is directed by Shawn Levy from a screenplay that he wrote with Reynolds, Paul Wernick, Rhett Reese, and Zeb Wells.

The story follows Wade Wilson, also known as Deadpool, as the Time Variance Authority recruits the Reynolds character to help protect the multiverse, thus affecting his tranquil existence. The film also stars Emma Corrin, Rob Delaney, Jennifer Garner, Matthew Macfadyen, and Morena Baccarin, among others.

It is slated for a July 26 release in theatres.
