Emraan Hashmi recently opened up about his old tiff with his Murder co-star Mallika Sherawat and said that both of them were ‘young and stupid’ at that time. The two had created a sensation after starring in Anurag Basu’s erotic thriller in 2004 and had got into a conflict that sparked due to some misunderstandings post-release.

The two were seen in April for the first time since their conflict began as they posed for photos together. In an interview with News18, Emraan opened up about the reunion and said, “It was very warm and cordial. I saw her after a very long long time. I don’t think we had an encounter like that after I met her a couple of times after the release of Murder.

Speaking about what had transpired in the past between the two, Emraan reflected, “We were young and stupid at that time. There’s a phase in life when your decision-making power is so limited and you are just so impulsive. Some things were said by her, some by me; they were mean. I think it’s just bygones and we also kept that aside long back. It was very nice seeing her. She was very warm, I too was.”

Emraan was last seen in the Disney+ Hotstar series Showtime. His last film release was the Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger 3 (2023), where he essayed the role of an antagonist.
