Nawazuddin Siddiqui recently opened about the importance given to looks in the film industry and said that sometimes he questions himself why he became part of it with such a bad face. He also called himself the ugliest actor in Bollywood.
In a conversation with News18, the actor said, “I have no idea why some people hate our looks. Maybe because we are so ugly. Sometimes I also feel like that when I look in the mirror. I question myself why I came into the industry with such a bad face?”
He added, “I am the ugliest actor – physically – in the film industry. I have been hearing it for so long that I have started believing in it too. I have no complaints about the film industry as such.”
He recently starred in the ZEE5 film Rautu Ka Raaz, where he played the role of a cop. The film is directed by Anand Surapur and also stars Atul Tiwari, Rajesh Kumar and Narayani Shastri in pivotal roles.
