Nikkhil Advani begins shooting for the web-series Freedom at Midnight

The shooting for the web series Freedom at Midnight commenced on Tuesday. Nikkhil Advani is the show-runner for the series which is written by Abhinandan Gupta, Adwitiya Kareng Das and Gundeep Kaur.

Nikkhil took to Instagram to share some pictures regarding the announcement. In the caption, he wrote, “Sacrifice of many. Ambition of one. Shoot Begins.”

It is based on the book ‘Freedom at Midnight’, written by Dominique Lapierre and Larry Collins. It tells the story of India’s freedom struggle and is set in the late 1940s.

Freedom at Midnight is produced by Nikkhil’s Emmay Entertainment and StudioNext. It will stream on Sony LIV.
