The release date of Kunal Kemmu’s debut directorial Madgaon Express is out. The film, starring Pratik Gandhi, Divyenndu, Avinash Tiwary and Nora Fatehi, will be released in theatres on March 22.
Sharing the film’s posters on social media, which show Pratik, Divyenndu and Avinash in a wacky avatar, Kunal wrote, “Yaatri kripya dhyaan de. In teen dosto ke saath kya ghatne wala hai, yeh aapko dikhane ke liye gaadi platform athava cinema gharo Mae aane ke liye taiyaar hai.. (Passengers please note. What will happen with these friends, find out soon in theatres) Super excited and thrilled to announce the arrival of Madgaon Express in cinemas on the 22nd of March 2024.”
The film will be produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani's Excel Entertainment. The title refers to the city of Madgaon in Goa.
Earlier, sharing the announcement, Kunal had written - “Ganpati Bappa Moriya. As all good things begin with his name I can’t think of a better day to share this with all of you. Kunal started his career as a child actor in films like Sir, Raja Hindustani and Zakhm. In 2005, he made his debut as the lead in Mohit Suri's Kalyug. His other notable films include Traffic Signal, Superstar, Go Goa Gone, 99, Golmaal 3 and Kalank. Kunal also leads the thriller series Abhay (2019—). He is married to actor Soha Ali Khan.
