Varun Dhawan's VD18 officially launched

We have earlier reported that actor Varun Dhawan is filming for his next, tentatively titled VD18. While the shoot has been in progress for a while now, the makers unveiled the official launch of the film, which happened along with Muhurath pooja ceremony. 

VD18 is written and directed by Kalees, who has previously helmed the 2019 Tamil film Kee. Atlee is backing the film along with Murad Khetani, under the A for Apple Studios and Cine1 Studios banners. 

Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi will be seen alongside Varun, in prominent roles, in VD18. Varun Dhawan recently wrapped the Kerala schedule of the film's shoot. The Muhurat Pooja video came with the announcement that the film's title will be released soon. 

More announcements regarding the film's supporting cast, crew and plot are yet to be made by the makers.
