The release of Salman Khan’s Sikandar teaser has been postponed in light of the demise of former PM Manmohan Singh, the makers said on Friday. It will now release tomorrow at 11:07 pm. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the film's teaser was earlier scheduled to be released today on the occasion of Salman’s birthday.

The producers Nadiadwala Grandson took to social media to make the announcement and said, “In light of the passing of our esteemed former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Ji, we regret to announce that the release of the Sikandar teaser has been postponed to 28th December 11:07 AM. Our thoughts are with the nation during this time of mourning. Thank you for understanding.”

Yesterday, the makers unveiled a new poster featuring Salman from the film, where he is seen to be holding a weapon.

The film reunites Salman with producer Sajid Nadiadwala after their 2014 blockbuster, Kick, which also marked the directorial debut for the latter. The ensemble cast of Sikandar also includes Kishore, Suniel Shetty, Prateik Babbar, Chaitanya Choudhry, and Nawab Shah.

The film is set to be an action-packed entertainer which is scheduled for release in theatres on Eid 2025.
