Punjabi actor Sonam Bajwa joins the cast of Baaghi 4

The film, fronted by Tiger Shroff, also stars Sanjay Dutt

A day after the first look of Sanjay Dutt from Baaghi 4 was unveiled by the makers, Punjabi actor Sonam Bajwa has now become the latest actor to join the cast of the fourth film in the franchise fronted by Tiger Shroff.

Tiger took to his Instagram stories on Tuesday to make the announcement. He shared a photo of Sonam and wrote, “Welcoming the new member of the Rebel Family! Thrilled to have @sonambaiwa in the #BaaghiUniverse #SajidNadiadwala's #Baaghi4.”

Sonam also took to her Instagram to share the news. She posted a picture of a clapboard from the film and wrote, "As the shoot for my debut Hindi film Houseful 5 almost comes to an end, I am so honoured to announce that I will continue my journey forward with Sajid Sir & team as I start the shoot of my 2nd Hindi film Baaghi 4 with them!! I am so
excited to be a part of Baaghi 4 and looking forward to working with Tiger Shroff and Sanjay Dutt sir and the entire team, I couldn’t be more blessed and thankful. Looking forward to entertaining my fans, audiences and well wishers in films always, see you at the movies."

Sonam is a prominent name in the Punjabi film industry with films such as Nikka Zaildar, Godday Godday Chaa and Manje Bistre to her credit. She was last seen in the film Kudi Haryane Val Di.

In Sanjay’s first poster from the film unveiled yesterday, he is seen sitting on a throne and shrieking over a blood-covered body of a woman. Sharing the poster on Instagram, the actor wrote, “Every Aashiq (lover) is a Villain”

Earlier, Tiger’s first look from the film was also unveiled where he is seen sitting on the toilet seat in a bathroom which is full of blood and there are some bodies lying around.. 

All the previous instalments of the Baaghi franchises have been inspired from South Indian films like Varsham, Kshanam, and VettaiBaaghi 4 was announced officially in 2020.

The film is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and is set to be released in theatres on September 5, 2025.
