The teaser of Sonu Sood-starrer actioner Fateh was unveiled by the makers on Monday. The film marks the directorial debut for the Dabangg actor. It also stars Naseeruddin Shah, Vijay Raaz and Jacqueline Fernandez.
The teaser shows Sonu as Fateh, probably a contract killer, wearing a sharp suit and engaging in gory action. An alley action scene involving an axe reminds one of Animal. Naseeruddin Shah and Vijay Raaz are also seen in the teaser. Jacqueline is in the role of Fateh’s love interest. As per a press note shared by the makers, Fateh is about an ex-special ops operative, who plunges into the depths of a cybercrime syndicate, uncovering the dark forces that threaten to destabilize countless lives after a young woman is ensnared in a dangerous scam.
Talking about the film Sonu said, “Fateh is incredibly special to me—not only because it marks my debut as a director but also because it is a voice against the alarming threat that many of us underestimate: the invisible, dark forces of the cyber world. The beating heart of the film is its cutting-edge action that plays out with the ultimate showdown between the real and the virtual.”
The film is slated to release on January 10, 2025.
