Fahad Faasil is set to make his Hindi film debut alongside Triptii Dimri in Imtiaz Ali’s next film, according to a report in Peeping Moon. The film is in the final stages of scripting and will go in production next year.
A source told the publication, “They have been discussing this project for months, and it was recently finalised contractually. Triptii’s pairing with him adds an exciting and unique dimension to this collaboration. Imtiaz is known for pushing boundaries in love stories, and this one promises to stand out in his repertoire."
The film is said to be a love story, which is also produced by Imtiaz under his banner Window Seat Films.
Fahad will be seen next in Pushpa 2: The Rule, which is set to hit theatres on December 5. Triptii was last seen in Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Imtiaz’s Amar Singh Chamkila was released earlier this year on Netflix. Triptii and Imtiaz have collaborated earlier for Laila Majnu (2018), which was co-written by Imtiaz and directed by his brother Sajid Ali.
