Vijay Varma recently opened up about his experience of working with Amitabh Bachchan and said that he greets everyone on set and stays there even if its not his scene. Vijay worked with Amitabh briefly in the 2016 film, Pink.

In an interaction with Shubhankar Mishra on his podcast, Vijay shared, “He has created a system for himself where he’s able to be his best professional self and his best personal self. His on-set behaviour is impeccable. His work ethics make you feel like he is trying to do his best; and he will put in every effort to do his best. He is extremely supportive, extremely collaborative. He stays on set, regardless of whether it’s his shot or not. He pulls up a chair and watches others work.”

He added, “His off-set behaviour, how to interact with others, how he makes everybody feel seen on the set... He takes his time, but he says hello to everybody. He takes an hour to greet everybody. He doesn’t address the room; he doesn’t wave at everyone as a group. He makes sure he gives time to each individual on set. It’s very beautiful, it’s very special.”

Vijay will be seen next in Anubhav Sinha’s hijack thriller IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack, a 6-episode docu-series which also stars Naseeruddin Shah, Arvind Swamy, Dia Mirza, Aditya Srivastava, Manoj Pahwa, Kumud Mishra, Pankaj Kapur and others.
