Rajkummar Rao, whose horror-comedy Stree 2 is reigning at the box office, recently shared photos from the shooting of a deleted scene from the film. In the pictures, Rajkummar is dressed in drag with a silky wig and a glittery skirt with heels. The film’s director Amar Kaushik can also be seen in one of the photos.
“One of my favourite scenes from the film which didn’t make it to the Final Cut. Kya aap log dekhna chahte hain ye scene film mein? Aap sab batao? (Do you guys want to see this scene in the film)@amarkaushik,” Rajkummar captioned the post.
In the comments section, actor Vijay Varma wrote, “Hahhahaha I would pay money to watch this.” Shraddha Kapoor, who is part of the film’s cast, also commented, “YES!!! Vicky please daal do do do do lo lo lo lo lo.” Director Amar wrote, “Sometime you have to “kill your Darling” to make screenplay work. But I agree it’s a funny scene like other scenes. Jaldi kahi na kahi aa jayega. (It will soon come somewhere soon).”
In two weeks since its release, Stree 2 has become the highest grosser of 2024, surpassing Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer Fighter. The film also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee.
