Ajay Devgn and Tabu starrer Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha has managed to collect over Rs 6.75 crore at the box-office in three days since its release, according to Sacnilk.com.
It is among the lowest openers for Ajay, whose last two films, Maidaan and Shaitaan, collected Rs 7.25 crore and 15.21 crore, respectively, on the first day. Along with that, Tabu’s heist comedy Crew had managed to earn Rs 9.25 crore at the box-office when it released in March earlier this year.
The romantic-musical opened at Rs 1.85 crore on Day 1 and saw a small rise in the collections on Day 2, minting close to Rs 2.15 crore and Rs 2.75 crore on Day 3. Its worldwide collection stands at Rs 9.5 crore.
Directed by Neeraj Pandey, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha also stars Shantanu Maheshwari, Saiee Manjrekar and Jimmy Sheirgill in pivotal roles. It tells a story that unfolds across 25 years with Shantanu and Saie playing the younger versions of Ajay and Tabu. It is produced by Narendra Hirawat, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Sangeeta Ahir, and Shital Bhatia.
The film was earlier scheduled to be released on July 5, but was postponed just days before and pushed to August 2. It clashed at the box office with Janhvi Kapoor’s spy thriller Ulajh, which also struggled to open well at the box-office.
