The teaser of Dibakar Banerjee’s Love Sex Aur Dhoka 2 was released by the makers on Monday. The film stars Mouni Roy, Swastika Mukherjee, Uorfi Javed, Tusshar Kapoor and Anu Malik in pivotal roles.
The teaser starts with a warning that it is to be seen only by adults. It introduces the world of the film which is based in the digital era. Tusshar Kapoor and Anu Malik feature as judges on a reality show where a live kiss happens between contestants and other characters come to perform. It also features some portions shot like the reality show Bigg Boss where a contestant slaps her own mother. The film seems to be a dark satire on social media and TRP driven reality shows.
The first part, Love, Sex aur Dhokha was released back in 2010 and starred Rajkumar Rao, Anshuman Jha and Nushrratt Bharuccha. It featured three different but related stories of an honour killing, an MMS scandal and a sting operation. The film received positive reviews after its release.
Love, Sex aur Dhoka 2 is produced by Ektaa R Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor. It is presented by Balaji Motion Pictures and Cult Movies and will be released in theatres on April 19.
