Makers of the upcoming action film Tejas, starring Kangana Ranaut in the lead role, released the Tejas Anthem song Dil hai Ranjhana. The song captures Tejas Gill's soul, diving into her aspirations, determination, and the challenges she endured while chasing her objectives.
Sharing the song on her Instagram handle, Kangana wrote, "Presenting Tejas' anthem, overflowing with unwavering love and determination to serve the nation!". The song is sung by Rashmeet Kaur and Shashwat Sachdev, with music given by Shashwat Sachdev and lyrics by Kumaar.
Earlier the makers of Tejas unveiled the first song Jaan Da, and the trailer of the film on the occasion of Air Force Day.
The trailer introduced us to Tejas Gill (Kangana Ranaut), a young Air Force officer. She is described as somebody who should not be sent for an "easy mission" but be deployed if something "dangerous and difficult" comes along. When an Indian Spy is captured by Pakistani terrorists, Tejas volunteers to rescue him. The trailer is filled with aerial action and chest-beating patriotism. At a point Kangana says. "When in doubt, think about the nation."
Written and directed by Sarvesh Mewara and produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Tejas is scheduled to release in theatres on October 27, 2023.
Kangana was recently seen in the Tamil film Chandramukhi 2. Apart from Tejas, Kangana is gearing up for the political thriller Emergency. The film will see her as former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Apart from featuring in the film, Kangana has also directed and produced it under her banner Manikarnika Films.
