The first poster of Anil Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur-starrer The Night Manager dropped in today. The series is the official Hindi remake of a British series of the same name. The original show starred Hugh Laurie and Tom Hiddleston. While Anil Kapoor will step into the shoes of Hugh, Aditya will take up the role originally played by Tom.
Sharing the motion poster on his Instagram account, Anil wrote, “Duniya ke sabse dangerous arms dealer ko rokne ke liye there is only one weapon - ek hotel ka night manager (To stop the world’s most dangerous arms dealer, there is only one weapon- a hotel’s night manager)”
After Malang, The Night Manager marks the second collaboration between Anil and Aditya. The series will be streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. In it, Anil Kapoor will be seen as a weapons dealer who disguises himself as a business tycoon. Aditya will be seen as the night manager of a luxury hotel and a former soldier. Sobhita Dhulipala has stepped into the shoes of Olivia Colman who played Angela Burr and lead character Jonathan Pine (Tom Hiddleston)'s recruiter.
When it comes to other projects, Aditya Roy Kapur was last seen in Rashtra Kavach Om alongside Sanjana Sanghi. He will be next seen in Anurag Basu’s Metro… In Dino. On the other hand, Anil Kapoor has Siddharth Anand’s Fighter in his kitty alongside Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone.
