Sam CS has composed music for the Hindi remake of the British television series The Night Manager. The upcoming series has an ensemble cast that includes Anil Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sobhita Dhulipala, Tillotama Shome, Saswata Chatterjee and Ravi Behl.

When asked if he had to adapt the music for Indian sensibilities, Sam CS reveals that that music is as international as the series and its setting. He says, “The story travels to locations like Saudia Arabia and Sri Lanka and we have used orchestral music to make it feel truly international.” He further talks about how The Night Manager has a high budget for music production alone, which according to the composer is a rarity for web series in our country.

Sam CS says, “The higher budget for music production really helped me bring in international artists and expand the scope, we used talents from the Budapest Orchestra and t Macedonian Orchestra.” The Vikram Vedha composer then says, ”I do not believe in reducing the quality of the music just because it is a web series. He then proclaims, “In fact, I think I would prefer to do more such web series than films.”

Developed for Disney+ Hotstar, the series will start streaming on February 17.
