Shah Rukh Khan revealed during an Ask Me Anything session on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday that his team will be coming up with the Jawan trailer. He also posted the teaser of an upcoming song from the film, titled ‘Not Ramaiya Vastavaiya’.
SRK took to X and wrote, "Ok guys time to go make the trailer as everyone wants that. @TSeries & @anirudhofficial& @Atlee_dir had wanted to put out a song. Will leave a teaser now….& get @AntonyLRuben to work on the trailer. Song is….Not …Ramaiya Vastvaiya. Bye for now. Love u all. #Jawan."
Antony Ruben is the film’s editor, who also edited Pushpa: The Rise, which won two National Awards. He also took to his X handle and shared the promo. He said, "Ladies & Gentlemen! Boys & Girls!! Put your dancing shoes on."
Apart from revealing the song’s teaser, Shah Rukh also answered many questions during the AMA session and engaged in his usual, funny banter with people. He also congratulated Alia Bhatt for recently winning the National Award for Best Actress for Gangubai Kathiawadi. “So happy for her and congratulations to all the other winners too!!” he wrote. Replying to another question about his learning experiences in the film industry he wrote, “I just keep trying to learn every day and work selflessly to entertain. An entertainer has to love his audience more than loving himself/ herself. It’s been a long learning road so far….#Jawan.” He also praised the recently released blockbuster Gadar 2 and wrote, “Loved it.”
On Friday, Shah Rukh shared a video footage on social media on Friday comprising all of his avatars from Jawan. He captioned the post, " Yeh to shuruaat hai... The Many Faces of Justice... yeh teer hain... abhi dhaal baaki hai… yeh anth hai abhi kaal baaki hai.Yeh poochta hai khud se kuch.... abhi Jawaab baaki hai.There's a purpose behind every Face. But this is just the beginning...Wait for the Ace!!!"
Directed by Atlee, Jawan also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, and Ridhi Dogra and has a special appearance by Deepika Padukone.
The film will be released in theatres on September 7.
