As Jawan inches towards the Rs 1000 crore mark worldwide, Shah Rukh Khan conducted an AskSRK session on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday. Among other things, SRK answered questions about his upcoming film Dunki, how he determines the tone for a character and if there are lizards in Mannat.
Replying to a fan who asked if SRK’s what was his son AbRam’s reaction after watching the film, the actor said, “Baap Baap hota hai..!! No no just joking. He loved the fight with the Big guy….he loved it in the climax.”
Another X user praised Shah Rukh’s dialogue delivery and voice modulation. Replying to it, SRK said, “I present all to the director and he or she chooses. It’s a process I spend a lot of time on it.”
SRK also spoke about Dunki. When another fan asked him what is new in the film since he has done “classy and massy” with Pathaan and Jawan, Shah Rukh said, “Dunki mein Raju Hirani hai!!! Aur kya chahiye??!! ( Dunki has Raju Hirani, what more do you want?).
When another user asked if there are lizards in Mannat, Shah Rukh said, “Chipkaliya toh nahi dekhi Titliyaan bahut aati hain….very beautiful ones the kids love seeing them on the flowers (Never seen lizards but a lot of butterflies come…).”
Jawan also features Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra and Priyamani. The film is directed by Atlee. It was released worldwide in theaters on September 7, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
