Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh and Australian pop singer Sia announced their cooperation with the release of their surprise track Hass Hass, which will be available on October 26.
The announcement comes months after Dosanjh, known for hit songs such as Do You Know?, Lover and Peaches, shared pictures with Sia from a recording studio on social media. Hass Hass will be released on Thursday night, wrote Dosanjh on his official X page.
"Surprise! The One & Only Queen @Sia. Brand New Song - HASS HASS... Out This Thursday 9.30 pm IST DILJIT X SIA," he captioned the cover art of the song.
Prior to this, Diljit Dosanjh was seen recording with Sia in July this year. However, ever since the two were seen together, the Maana Dil hitmaker has maintained silence and did not elaborate much on this at all.
Earlier, this had sparked rumours that Sia would be working with the Punjabi singer-actor for his latest record titled Ghost which was released on September 29, 2023. But Sia was not featured on it.
Sharing his excitement working with Sia, Diljit said, “Creating Hass Hass with Sia has been a memorable journey. This collaboration is exceptionally special, as Sia has ventured into singing in Punjabi. She is effortless and absolutely incredible. This song is all about spreading happiness and positivity, and we hope it touches the hearts of people across the globe.”
Meanwhile, Sia’s global chartbusters include Cheap Thrills, Unstoppable, and Chandelier.
