Adah Sharma, Sudipto Sen and Vipul Amrutlal Shah's Bastar: The Naxal Story goes on floors

After making The Kerala Story, Producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah, director Sudipto Sen, and actor Adah Sharma are now gearing up for their next. 

The trio have teamed up together for a film titled, Bastar: The Naxal Story for which the shoot has commenced with a Mahurat puja followed by a first-day shoot at the location.  

The shoot of Bastar: The Naxal Story began with Mahurat Puja which witnessed the presence of Vipul Amrutlal Shah, Aashin A. Shah from Sunshine Pictures, director Sudipto Sen and actress Adah Sharma were present. 

After the puja, Adah Sharma shot her first shot on the location. She was seen donning military pants, a black commando t-shirt, and a commando-like bandana. Sharing the update on X, Adah Sharma also revealed that her character's name is Neerja Madhavan. 

"Gave an audition today in front of 100 (or more) members of the press. What a day! Also, my next movie is called Bastar need all your blessings. Hopefully, you all love Neerja Madhavan like you did Shalini Unnikrishnan in The Kerala Story," she said.

Made under the banner of Sunshine Pictures, the film is made in association with Last Monk media. 

Bastar: The Naxal Story is slated to release on 5 April 2024.
