While Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan continuous its unwavering success at the box office, the makers released the video of the much-popular song Zinda Banda. Composed and sung by Anirudh Ravichander, with lyrics penned by Irshad Kamil, the song has been choreographed by Shobi Paulraj. The Tamil and Telugu versions of the song, titled Vandha Edam and Dhumme Dhulipelaa, have also been released.

Directed by Atlee, Jawan also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, and Ridhi Dogra, among others. Deepika Padukone has a cameo appearance in the film.
The film, released in theatres on August 7, so far grossed a humongous sum of Rs. 1117.39 crores and opened favourable to mixed reception. "The problem with Jawan isn't that it tries to cram in as many issues; it's that the film doesn't really seem to care… a lot like how it doesn't really seem to invest emotionally in its characters," reads an excerpt from the CE review of the film.
A commercial action drama, Jawan features Khan as a father and son who team up to destroy the forces that plague society. Vijay Sethupathi plays the antagonist. Anirudh Ravichander has scored the music for the film. Jawan also features cinematography by GK Vishnu and editing by Ruben.
