Koffee With Karan to return with Season 8 on this date

Karan Johar’s celebrity talk show Koffee With Karan is returning for its eighth season. In a hilarious new announcement video, Karan revealed that the new season will start streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from October 26.

In the video Karan is seen lounging on a sofa when he is visited by his ‘konscience’ which is also played by him. Konscience Karan takes some jibes on the last season of KWK, stating that it had the same old jokes and it is “lame” for a 50-year-old to be interested in the sex lives of 20-year-olds. He also says that the last season was so “thanda” it should have been called Cold Koffee With Karan.

Vexed with the remarks Karan declares “screw the wait.” “I am brewing season 8 and it is going to be great.”

The last season of KWK opened on July 7 last year with an episode featuring besties Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan, among others, also took to the KWK couch.
