Lutt Putt Gaya song from the upcoming Hindi film Dunki, starring Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role and directed by Rajkumar Hirani, was released on Wednesday. Composed by Pritam with lyrics penned by Swanand Kirkire - IP Singh, the song has been sung by Arijit Singh, and it is choreographed by Ganesh Acharya.
In an AskSRK session, when a Twitter user asked about his experience while shooting for Lutt Putt Gaya, he said, "Rajkumar Hirani is an awesome person to work with. This is the most fun I have had doing a film with his team. The song was very hot to shoot…peak of summers."
The song is part of the Drop 2 video unit of the film. Earlier, the makers released the film's teaser as Drop 1. The song's official description reads, "When Manu (Taapsee Pannu) stands up for Hardy (Shah Rukh Khan) against the world, he can’t help but be smitten by her. Watch him as his feelings for Manu transform him into a hopeless romantic."
Apart from Shah Rukh Khan and Taapsee, the film also features Boman Irani, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar and Anil Grover.
Dunki is a JIO Studios, Red Chillies Entertainment, and Rajkumar Hirani Films presentation produced by Rajkumar Hirani and Gauri Khan. It has been written by Abhijat Joshi, Rajkumar Hirani and Kanika Dhillon.
The film will hit the theatres on December 21.
