Kareena Kapoor Khan to play Avni Singham in Singham Again

The makers of Singham Again took to social media on Wednesday to unveil Kareena Kapoor Khan’s first look from the film. The actor plays the character of Avni Bajirao Singham in the film.

In the poster shared by the film’s director Rohit Shetty on Instagram, Kareena can be seen wearing a blue shirt over a black T-shirt and intensely pointing a gun at the screen. A troop of para-military force can be seen in the background. Rohit also praised Kareena in the caption. “Meet the strength behind Singham…Avni Bajirao Singham… We first worked together in 2007… 3 blockbusters till now Golmaal Returns Golmaal 3 Singham Returns… And now working on our fourth project… Singham Again… 16-year long association. Nothing has changed, Bebo is still the same, simple, sweet and hardworking,” he wrote.

Kareena also re-shared the poster and wrote, "It’s about time…Rejoining forces with the cop verse Singham Again."

Recently, the makers shared a poster of Akshay Kumar’s character Veer Sooryavanshi from the 2021 film Sooryavanshi. Akshay will also feature in Singham Again, along with other cop verse characters like Simmba (Ranveer Singh). Singham Again will also see new entrants like Deepika Padukone as lady supercop Shakti Shetty and Tiger Shroff as ACP Satya.

Headlined by Ajay Devgn, Singham Again is scheduled to release in August next year.
