On Thursday, Kartik Aryan took to Twitter to announce the wrap of his upcoming film Satyaprem Ki Katha. Penning a long note conveying his gratitude to the film's team, he wrote, "SatyaPrem will always be my favourite, strongest and bravest character and I hope you will connect with him too, as I believe all of us have a Sattu in us." (sic)
Directed by Sameer Vidwans, the film is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Shareen Mantri Kedia and Kishor Arora. The film marks Kiara Advani's reunion with Kartik Aryan after Bhool Bhulaiya 2.
Previously the makers released the teaser of Satyaprem Ki Katha. The teaser shows Kartik and Kiara romancing in different locations, from a lake to yellow mustard fields. We see them get married, ride a bike through scenic snow-capped mountains and match steps during a dandiya event. But things don’t continue to be happy. Kiara is seen sad, holding back tears. “If you ever cry, it must be through my eyes,” Kartik says in a voiceover.
The film also stars Supriya Pathak Kapur, Gajraj Rao, Siddharth Randheria, Anooradha Patel, Rajpal Yadav, Nirrmite Saawaant, and Shikha Talsania. Satyaprem Ki Katha is scheduled to be released on June 29.
