Shah Rukh Khan took to Twitter on Monday to share the poster of his daughter Suhana Khan’s debut film The Archies.
Directed by Zoya Akhtar and written by Ayesha Devitre Dhillon, Reema Kagti and Zoya, the upcoming Netflix film, based on the popular comic franchise, will feature Suhana as Veronica, Agastya Nanda as Archie and Khushi Kapoor as Betty. Mihir Ahuja, Dot, Vedang Raina and Yuvraj Menda play the other gang members designed around Reggie, Jughead, Dilton and Ethel.
Shah Rukh shared the poster and also reminisced about his days of reading the comics. “I remember when I was young (millions of years ago) would book my Archie’s Digest in advance to rent. Nostalgia,” he tweeted.
“I hope Big Moose is also in the film! All the best to the whole cast and love,” he added. Big Moose or Marmaduke "Moose" Mason is a fictional character in the Archie Comics universe. He attends Riverdale High School and is depicted as the best athlete but poor in academics.
After the record-smashing success of Pathaan, Shah Rukh will next be seen in Atlee’s Jawan and Dunki, which will be directed by Rajkumar Hirani.
