

On Wednesday, actor Raghava Lawrence took to Twitter to pen a note wishing success to Prabhas, and the entire team of Adipurush for their film. On the social media platform, he wrote, "My wishes to the entire Adipurush team and Thanks to Prabhas for playing the role of Rama by being a pan-India star. Reaching out the epic Ramayana to today’s generation is the biggest achievement of all. My prayers for the movie’s massive success."
Directed by Om Raut, Adipurush is an upcoming Indian mythological film based on the Ramayana. With Prabhas playing the role of Raghava, Kriti Sanon is set to essay as Janaki, and Saif Ali Khan will feature as Lankesh or Ravana. The rest of the cast includes Sunny Singh as Lakshmana, Devdatta Nage as Bajrang and Vatsal Sheth as Indrajit among others.
With cinematography by Karthik Palani, Adipurush has editing by Apurva Motiwale Sahai and Ashish Mhatre. While Sanchit Balhara and Ankit Balhara have scored the background, Ajay-Atul and Sachet–Parampara have composed the music. The film is all set to hit theatres on June 16.
Meanwhile, Raghava Lawrence, who was last seen in Rudhran, recently wrapped up the filming for Chandramukhi 2. He currently has Adhigaram, Durga and Jigarthanda Double X in the pipeline.
