Night Manager season 2 trailer: Anil Kapoor’s arms dealer suspects Aditya Roy Kapur as the mole

The trailer of season 2 of Anil Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur starrer Night Manager was released on Monday. The series is directed by National-award winning director Sandeep Modi and also stars Sobhita Dhulipala, Tillotama Shome and Saswata Chatterjee.

The trailer takes us back to the world of Shailendra (Shelly) Rungta, a notorious arms dealer. Shaan (Aditya Roy Kapur), a hotel’s night manager who was employed by the Indian Intelligence services to infiltrate Shelly’s network, reunites with him. The over 2-minute video is filled with a lot of action and firepower. “If you have to bring down Ravan, Lanka has to burn,” says Aditya in the trailer. But the walls are closing in on him as Shelly becomes suspicious. “Are you the mole?” he asks Shaan.

Describing his experience of playing an arms baron, Anil Kapoor said, "Playing Shelly Rungta in The Night Manager has been an absolute delight. The show is the official adaptation of a British series of the same name. The original series featured Hugh Laurie and Tom Hiddleston.

The second part of the show will start streaming from June 30 on Disney+ Hotstar.
