Stree 2 wraps up first schedule

The makers of Stree 2 announced the wrap of its first schedule on Thursday. Actor Abhishek Banerjee who played ‘Janna’ in Stree (2018) posted a photo on his Instagram featuring Rajkummar Rao and Aparshakti Khurana making the announcement. The actors can be seen inside a plane, possibly returning from the shoot wrap.

 “1^st schedule wrap #Stree2,” Abhishek captioned the post.

Apart from the three actors, Stree 2 will also feature Pankaj Tripathi and Shraddha Kapoor.

Directed by Amar Kaushik, Stree was a hit at the box office. The sequel will see Amar return to the director’s chair. In April, the makers announced the release date at Jio Studios’ Infinite Together event. Actors Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee were present at the event to make the official announcement. They even enacted a skit to reveal the release date. The film is scheduled to drop in theatres on August 31, 2024.
