On Thursday, Prime Video released a video recapping the relationship between Kalki Koechlin's Faiza and Jim Sarbh's Adil in the first season of Made In Heaven. With a voiceover by Kalki, summarising the crossroads at which the relationship was left in season 1, the video teases the possibility of them uniting in the second season, which is set to release soon.
Speaking about her excitement for season 2, Kalki said in an official statement, "Moving forward into season two, I couldn't be more thrilled and excited. We have an incredible journey ahead, and just like the fans, I am eagerly looking forward to delving deeper into the lives of these complex characters and seeing what lies ahead of them. I can assure the loyal fans of Made In Heaven that season 2 will be grander and an enthralling experience.”
Further, recollecting the success of season 1, she said, "As an actor, it's incredibly gratifying to see how season 1 of Made in Heaven resonated with audiences and became such a popular and critically acclaimed series. The overwhelming response from fans has been heartwarming."
The show also stars Sobhita Dhulipala, Arjun Mathur, Shashank Arora, and Shivani Raghuvanshi in prominent roles. Zoya Akhtar along with Reema Kagti, created the drama series that reflects the lives of upscale modern India. The story is narrated through the eyes of two wedding planners, and set against the backdrop of quintessential Indian weddings in Delhi.
Made In Heaven is directed by Zoya Akhtar, Nitya Mehra, Alankrita Shrivastava and Prashant Nair. Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar have produced the series.
