With Mangalavara, the upcoming film directed by Ajay Bhupati, gearing up for release, the director revealed that it is a village-based action thriller set against the backdrop of the 1990s.
Ajay, previously directed Tamil superhit film RX100. The film stars Payal Rajput, Shravan Reddy, Chaitanya Krishna, Nandita Swetha, Ajay Ghosh, and Laxman playing pivotal roles.
The filmmaker stated that it sticks to our nativity with raw, rustic visuals and emotions. "There are 30 characters in the story and every character has got a certain place in the larger scheme of the film." The team successfully wrapped up the 99 days of the shoot on June 12, and the film is currently in the post-production stage.
Mangalavara is bankrolled by Swathi Reddy Gunupati and Suresh Varma M under the banners Mudhra Media Works, A Creative Works. The film's technical crew comprises cinematographer Sivendra Dasaradhi and editor Madhav Kumar Gullapalli. The film will release in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
